The Calgary Canucks return with an even record from the first roadtrip of 2016. This past weekend, the team faced the Grande Prairie Storm and the Whitecourt Wolverines in the last regular season roadtrip to face teams from the Viterra AJHL North division.
The Canucks started great, beating the Storm with a final score of 6:1. Player of the game for the Canucks was goalie Logan Drackett, saving 28 of 29 shots that night.
The team went on to play the Wolverines the following day. The Canucks lost that game with a final score of 6:3. Canucks' player of the game was #8 Ryan McKinnon, who brought the Canucks back within one after scoring the 4:3 early in the third.
The Canucks will now head back and face the Canmore Eagles on Friday, January 15, at 7:00 PM in Canmore.
