On Thursday Nov 13, the Canucks sent 19 yr old fwd Deryk Sutherland to Dauphin in exchange for 19 yr old fwd Connor McCallum. McCallum spent time with the Canucks last season but was then traded to Whitecourt at the deadline. “We are losing a character kid in Deryk, he will be missed in our room and on the ice. We certainly wish Deryk nothing but success in Dauphin. In Connor we are getting a 6'1″ good skating forward with some offensive upside.”
The Canucks head to Olds on Friday where they will be taking on the Grizzly's. The Canucks return home on Saturday when Drayton Valley will be in town. Game time on Saturday is 7:00 PM at Max Bell.
