The Calgary Jr. A Canucks are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Austin Glenn, the top defenseman and an assistant captain of the Calgary Royals Midget AAA team in 2014-2015. In 33 games, Glenn had 6 goals and 14 assists for the Royals. The 1998-born defenseman will be reunited with Head Coach Jay Pylypuik who helped him develop last season.
“ We are very happy to be able to add a player of Austin’s calibre to the Canucks family,” said Head Coach Pylypuik. “He brings a great combination of physical play along with his offensive abilities, he is a tough competitor who possesses a very heavy shot from the point.
