Canucks Sign Jaxon Steele

Calgary, AB — The Calgary Canucks are pleased to announce the signing of Jaxon Steele. Steele is a 2000 born forward from Calgary, Alberta who had been playing with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL.

Jaxon played his minor hockey in Calgary including the 2016-17 season with the AAA Buffaloes where he had 32 points in 31 games played. During the 2015-16 campaign Steele had a phenomenal year capturing the Alberta Minor Midget Hockey League scoring title with 87 points in 37 games (2.35 points per game). Steele also led the entire league in assists with 49 and was ranked 3rd in goals with 38.

Coach Oly is excited to add Jaxon into the mix with our current forward group and feels Jaxon will be a terrific addition both on and off the ice for the Canucks organization.
