After going the extra mile to beat the Canmore Eagles 3:2 in OT last night, the Canucks are back at Max Bell tonight hosting the Banoyville Pontiacs. For more information about last night's game, please refer to the game write-up below:
The Calgary Canucks walked away with an exciting 3-2 overtime win.
The Canucks started off the game strong with an early goal from #9 Ben Assad with an assist from #11 Mitchell Scott in the first period. The Canmore Eagles responded quickly with  #17 Braden Saretsky also scoring on the power play  in the first.
Going into the second both teams were looking to add to the scoreboard. The Canmore Eagles #12 Lane Olson was able to add to put the Eagles ahead by one, with a goal mid way through the second.
The third started off strong for both teams. The Canucks #27 Brayden Brown scored late in the third period, tying up the game 2-2 which led into overtime at Max Bell.
3:27 into the over time, Canucks #9 Ben Assad scored the winning goal with the help of #3 Hunter Routheau.

The Calgary Canucks will play again at home Saturday, Dec. 12, against the Pontiacs.Â
