On Tuesday, August 26 the Calgary Canucks will play host to the WHL's Calgary Hitmen's traditional Black & White Intra-Squad Game, this year featuring two players who've played for the Canucks over the past two years. Landon Welykholowa (F) and Ben Thomas (D – 4th round draft pick Tampa Bay Lightning) will be part of the players hoping to make the Hitmen's roster.
The game is a fundraiser for the Calgary Canucks and all proceeds from gate entry and the 50/50 will go to the Canucks. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children – a great way to kick off the hockey season. Hope to see you at the game!
