Canucks Acquire Matt Painchaud from the La Ronge Ice Wolves

The Calgary Canucks are pleased to announce the acquisition of Matt Painchaud from the La Ronge Ice Wolves.

Joining the Canucks as a 20 year for the upcoming season, Painchaud will add play making, grit and character to the Canucks lineup. Last season, Matt scored 20 goals and had 32 assists for a total of 52 points with the Ice Wolves, making him their second highest goal scorer and point leader.

In exchange the Canucks have traded Mitch Scott to La Ronge.  The Canucks would like to thank Mitch for his contributions to the team last season and wish him all the best with his new team.

Welcome to the Canucks Matt!
