Canucks Acquire Three New Players

The Canucks made a couple of acquisitions this week, adding forward Korbyn Chabot from the Drayton Valley Thunder, as well as, forward Jackson Verstraete and defenceman Sean McCloskey from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.  The Canucks have also moved defenceman Max Struss, to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, forward Tyler Petrie to the Grande Prairie Storm, and forward Cooper Johnson, to Camrose Kodiaks.

Korbyn Chabot joins the Canucks after spending the last 2 seasons with the Drayton Valley Thunder.  Over the course of his time in DV he racked up 22 points in 53 games.  Defenceman Sean McCloskey spent his first season in the BCHL with the Chilliwack Chiefs, before joining the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for the 2018-2019 season.  This season he has put up 5 points in 22 games.  Jackson Verstraete has spend the last 2 season with the Oil Barons playing in 72 games and getting 17 points.

The Canucks would like to thank Max, Tyler, and Cooper, along with their families, for their time with the Canucks and all they have done for the Canucks organization.  We wish them all the best of luck with their new teams.

Welcome to the Canucks Korbyn, Jackson and Sean!
