Canucks Announce New Goalie Coach Ben Vandervies

The Calgary Canucks would like to announce our new Goaltending Coach, Ben Vandervies, has been added to our coaching staff. After spending four years playing Umass-Dartmouth NCAA, Ben returned to Calgary where he has been coaching High level goalies as well as completing a Masters degree in sports psychology. Coach Oly had this to say about Ben “This is a Huge positive for our young goalies, Ben and I worked together in Drumheller and I was very impressed with his attention to details, his education and how he teaches his goalies. Look at the success Virostek in Drum is having after working with Ben, welcome aboard Ben! I am looking forward to watching these young goalies improve under you.”
