The Calgary Canuck players helped out at the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary on Monday, December 3rd. The Canucks helped pack celery, apples, oranges, and pears that will be distributed as part of the Good Food Box program. This program is a hands-up program that allows individuals to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at a very low cost. Through the Good Food Box program, Calgarians in need have access to nutritious and affordable food.
Thank you to the Community Kitchen Program for allowing the team to come out and help get healthy food into the hands of Calgarians. To learn more about the Community Kitchen Program and the Good Food Box program visit their website.
