Canucks In The Community – YMCA Strong Kids Race

The Calgary Canucks were in the community bright and early on Saturday morning, April 29th.  Four Canucks players were proud to attend the fourth annual YMCA Strong Kids Race, which took place at Eau Claire Market and Prince's Island Park in downtown Calgary.

The event is organized by the staff and volunteers of the Gray Family Eau Claire YMCA, and is in support of the YMCA's Strong Kids program.  The program is an annual fundraising campaign to raise resources to support proven YMCA programs, that give kids the opportunities they need to reach their full potential.  For more information on the YMCA Strong Kids program, please click on the following website link, http://www.ymcacalgary.org/success-stories/donate/strong-kids/.

The Calgary Canucks are committed to community endeavours throughout the calendar year.  When there is no ice in the rink, the boys are excited to dedicate some additional time out in the community, and helping with various important causes in this great city.
