The Canucks would like to announce the signing of Daxton Budd, a forward who played for the Okotoks Oilers of the AMHL last season.
Budd is a 6?0 161 lb forward that hails from High River, Alberta. Budd had a successful season last year putting up 8 goals and 13 assists for a total of 21 points in 30 games with the team. He also played 4 games with the Canucks as an affiliated player.
“As an affiliate last season Daxton showed he has the abilities to play at the Junior level. He is an excellent faceoff man and helps make players around him better,? states Coach Brad Moran. ?I am looking forward to having him grow with our team next season.”
