The Calgary Canucks are keeping busy over the summer. After a successful AGM where a number of new volunteers signed up to support the team, the team is looking forward to getting the season started with a new look.
Main Training Camp is less than Two Months Away
The Calgary Canucks main camp begins on August 31st at Max Bell Arena with registration taking place at 3:30. Invitees are expected to be ready for a competitive camp.
Trades
The Calgary Canucks traded forward Connor McCallum (95) to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons for forward Zach McNeill (96). Thank you for your time in Calgary, Connor. Welcome to the team and welcome home, Zach.
McNeill is from Calgary and adds a physical dimension to the club and can get involved on the offensive side.
The Canucks also sent recently acquired Brody Vallette to the Camrose Kodiaks to complete a trade from last season. Brody was acquired in the deal that sent Chayden Lauber to Drumheller. Vallette has since been traded to the Drayton Valley Thunder, his fourth different team since the end of the season.
