The Showcase brings all 16-member teams to one central location allowing scouts from the NHL, NCAA, U Sports, WHL, and other leagues and advisors to watch AJHL players “showcase” their abilities conveniently. Numerous initiatives from this event will ensure a meaningful and lasting impact on the franchise, the AJHL and the community.
As part of the AJHL Showcase, the Calgary Canucks will play two regular season home games during the tournament when they face off against the Canmore Eagles at 5pm on Wednesday, September 27 and on Friday, September 29 at 5pm against the Drayton Valley Thunder.
The Calgary Canucks would also like to thank our event sponsor Tourism Calgary and our partners, Calgary Foundation and Transalta, for supporting junior hockey in Alberta and the 2023 AJHL Showcase. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available and the community is encouraged to reach out if interested.
