The Calgary Canucks have acquired 1997-born Forward Chad Varney from the Carleton Place Canadiens in exchange for defenceman Josh Gagne.
Varney had 12 goals and 16 assists for a total of 28 points in 41 games with the Brockville Braves last season.
The Canucks would like to wish Josh the best of luck with Carleton Place this upcoming season.
