The Calgary Canucks are excited to introduce our leadership group for the Canucks 50th Anniversary 2021-2022 Season!
The Canucks are proud to announce our 2021-2022 Captain, Connor Bertamini! Bertamini has been a staple on the Canucks’ blueline since the 2017-2018 season when he joined the defence corps as an AP. He has played 144 AJHL games in a Canucks jersey. Not only is Bertamini a tremendous leader on the ice but off the ice as well, receiving the Canucks Community Service Award in 2020.
Joining Bertamini on the leadership team are assistant captains Dylan Clark, Matthew Brunton, and Lucas Watkins! Dylan Clark has been an offensive force for the Canucks since the 2018-2019 season. Playing 124 games with the Canucks and racking up 32 goals and 42 assists with. Matthew Brunton has brought his never quit attitude to the Canucks since the 2019-2020 season. Over the past 2 seasons with the Canucks, Brunton has contributed 16 goals and 13 assists. Rounding out the leadership team is Lucas Watkins who joined the Canucks squad this past summer. Watkins will bring AJHL experience to the leadership team and Canucks blueline.
