Canucks Sign Five Players Ahead of the Start of the AJHL Regular Season

The Canucks are in the midst of finalizing their roster for the upcoming season and are excited to announce the signing of five players.

Matthew Brunton, a 2001-born forward spent last season with the Calgary Royals Midget AAA. In 30 games with the team last season, Brunton scored 4 goals and had 12 assists for a total of 16 points.

Braydon Jenkins is a familiar name amongst Canucks fans as he was acquired during the 2016-17 season from the Okotoks Oilers before being traded to the Lloydminster Bobcats in 2017-18. During his time with the Canucks previously, Jenkins had 9 goals and 17 assists for a total of 26 points in 62 games. After taking last season off, he makes his return to the Canucks lineup for his final AJHL season.

Joe Grotsky, also joins the Canucks after spending last season with the Calgary Royals Midget AAA.  This 2001-born defenceman put up 10 points in 32 games with the Royals. 

Max Mazur spent the 2018-19 season with the Northern Alberta X-Treme Prep.  In 28 games with the team he racked up 11 goals and 13 assists for a total of 24 points. 

Carter Anderson a 2001 born forward spend the 2018-19 season with the Revelstoke Grizzlies.  Last season Anderson contributed to his team success with 22 goals and 20 assists for a total of 42 points in 58 games.
