The Calgary Canucks Junior 'A' Hockey Club had a tough stard to last weekend's road trip. They lost their first game last Friday night to the Spruce Grove Saints with a final score of 8:0. This loss was not enough to bring the Canucks down, as they came back to following night and played a tight and hard fought game against the Drayton Valley Thunder. Spenrath put the team in front 2:1 early in the second and the Canucks hung on to a small lead until the Thunder tied the game at 2:2 with 2:30 min left in the third. The game went into OT where the Canucks kept battling and it was Kyler Magus who scored the game winning goal in overtime, securing the Canucks the first win of the regular season!
