The Calgary Canucks are pleased to announce that 2003-born goaltender Julian Molinaro has committed to Northern Michigan University of the NCAA Division I. Molinaro joined the Canucks during the 2023-2024 season and has been a force in net, playing a critical role in the Canucks winning their 10th AJHL Championship.
“We are more than excited for Julian’s commitment to Northern Michigan. He has been the best goalie in the AJHL all season and this is very deserving for him,” said Head Coach and GM Brad Moran, “Everyone sees what he can do on the ice but there is so much more he has brought to our organization this season with his work ethic, professional approach to the game everyday, and the way he carries himself.”
