Hunter Routheau commits to Northland College

The Calgary Canucks are pleased to announce Hunter Routheau will be attending Northland College, and playing hockey for the Lumberjacks during the 2016-17 season.

Seamus Gregory – Head Coach Northland

“Our staff is very excited about bringing Hunter on board. We have had the opportunity to watch him develop in the regional area for quite some time. His game has very much improved and he has become much more seasoned since joining the Canucks early on this past season. He has all the tools, works hard, plays 200 feet and adds some much needed size up front, we like his game a lot. He also loves our school, its location and our league being from the state. It’s a natural fit. He’s had a lot Division 3 traction and we couldn’t be happier he is coming here”.

Northland College is a Division 3 NCAA College that competes in the NCHA (Northern Collegiate Hockey Association) and is located in Ashland, Wisconsin.
